About
I'm a cultural producer and community builder working across art, culture, nature, and human connection. I'm interested in the power of experiences to awaken curiosity, create a sense of belonging, and offer new ways of engaging with the world.
My professional journey has taken me through design, international program management, cultural production, and community development. With experience at frog design, Global Optimism, and independent cultural initiatives, I've worked across complex international projects and intimate creative experiences.
My background also includes postgraduate study at the Royal College of Art and collaborations with artists, creative practitioners, and purpose-driven organizations. Across these different settings, I've become increasingly interested in the relationship between the experiences we create and the connections they make possible.
My work combines creative thinking with the practical experience of developing and producing programs, gatherings, and collaborations across different cultures and disciplines.
Art, culture, and nature are important sources of inspiration in my life and work. I am drawn to ideas that invite us to pause, look closer, ask questions, and experience things differently.
I believe beauty and curiosity have a role to play in how we relate to one another and the world around us. These interests inform the experiences I design and the people I hope to bring together.
Alongside my professional work, I maintain an independent artistic and research-based practice exploring the natural world, particularly flowers. This work lives at juliaharo.studio — a separate space for artistic expression, experimentation, and inquiry.
